Jason Orchard is an ex amateur boxer and 2nd Dan Black Belt Kickboxing has been both boxing coach and training in Martial Arts also working as a personal trainer for 12 years, he has worked with a number of professionals and amateurs and has been working with the white collar boxing events for the last 8 years recently holding the first ever white collar boxing event in the new Cardiff City football stadium. Whether you want to box seriously and get to a competitive level or just train to learn the skills, get fit, be conditioned, then Jason is the personal trainer for you.
Each of the sessions last an hour and each session will be varied, fun and educational. Hitting a punch bag or pads is a great way of releasing all that pent up energy and for getting in shape. White collar boxing is for both men and women and for young and old alike and for all levels of fitness from high level athletes to self confessed couch potatoes! It’s a popular way to get fit and is both fun and educational. Jason will teach you new skills and how to defend yourself; it will stimulate your mind as well as achieving fantastic physical results!
Boxing and Kickboxing are said to be the best all over body workouts you can do and through Jason’s ever changing programme of exercises including punch bag and pad work, medicine balls and skipping, his approach will challenge you to achieve your best. After teaching you a few skills you can choose to take it as far as you want to, whether you choose to spar or just stay with the punch bag and pads – it’s your choice.Is boxing safe? Well as a qualified instructor and trainer Jason will push you to achieve your goal but he will always work with you at a pace suitable to your level of fitness. Notes will be made during your session and your heart rate will be monitored. You will be motivated and encouraged to achieve your goals but you will always be made to feel comfortable and confident during the exercises.
